ATTICA — Mark A. Hanthorn, 46, 1200 E. Airport Blvd., Sanford, Fla., died Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2002 at his residence. He was born July 6, 1956 in Lafayette, the son of Harold V. and Lola J. McFadden Hanthorn. He was raised in Attica and attended Attica High School. He moved to Sanford 20 years ago. Survivors include: a son, Larry Hanthorn, Indianapolis; three daughters, Crystal Bray, Indianapolis, Melissa Filson, Topeka, Kan, and Bobbie Hanthorn, Florida; a sister, Aleta (Landis) Waters, Attica; and a brother, Joseph Tom (Luana) Hanthorn, Attica. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Vickie Horath; and a brother, Jeff Hanthorn. There will be a gathering of friends at Maus Funeral Home, Attica, from 4 p.m. until the memorial service at 5 p.m. Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Attica Community Foundation. – jlr
